We've not had much music to show you for a while, but all that changes today. The new album from Lukas Creswell-Rost has beached itself on the shores of Hitsville. The hull was breached by a ferocious Nahwhal, salty brine flooded the engine room and Lukas had no choice but to abandon ship and swim to shore with the final copy of his album tucked in the underflap of his thermal vest. We managed to de-saltify the hard drive and upload a copy online. Safe at last. Another copy was sent off to the tape factory where they kindly dubbed a small order of cassettes onto transparent green tape. So, find more info right here on the salvaged wreckage of a product.
What the hell is Gone Dreamin'? It's just an album. It's half linked to his last album. But why would someone spend three years remaking songs from their last album? Lukas Creswell-Rost just couldn’t let a few ideas slip by. Before he knew it, he was assembling another album bound together by the same themes of ambition and failure as his 2014 release, 'Go Dream'. Some old words with new melodies, some old chords with new instruments and brand new songs emerging from experiments.
